IELTS Preparation

Programme Description

The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examination is designed for students who wish to study in a university or college. The scoring system is on a scale of 1 - 9 and most British universities require a score of 5 - 7.5.This course prepares you for the examination and also provides general training in study skills. Classes combine input and practice with regular tests to practise each skill. You choose between the Academic Module and General Training Module, both of which consist of papers in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. In each paper, students are tested on the skills they will need for further study in an English language environment. To prepare you to take the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test so that you can register an IELTS score for entry to a British University. Courses are generally twelve weeks in duration. Courses are typically 12 or 24 weeks in duration. Classes are 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

General English + IELTS Combination

This programme can be combined with a General English programme (15 hours) to provide a comprehensive edge to students.
